FREE Road Magazine live NOW! Tim Schrick Special!

Following the massive success of the last issue of www.roadmagazine.co.uk, we've got a cracker again this month – a Tim Schrick Turbo TV special. Road buddy, Tim rang us earlier this Summer and asked us to line up some "crazy British cars" to film for his fab TV show, Turbo Automagazin on Sport 1 (www.mediencenter.sport1.de). Naturally, we were chuffed, and tried to line up an eclectic, eccentric, ballistic mix of mad British engineering for Tim to enjoy over the course of a week filming here in the UK. The cars were all amazing, all 10,000bhp of them! There was a crazy Z Cars classic Mini, with a Hayabusa engine and rear-wheel-drive, the incredibly engineered new selfish (single seater!) track day tool, the 575Kg, 280bhp BAC Mono and Andy Robinson's mental Mitsubishi Evo drag car with 1,066bhp at Santa Pod (Tim's first ever drag race!). We also had a great day out with the RMA at Donington Park – with the amazing new speedy racer from pedigree-rich Chevron, the GR8 and their stunning re-built historic classic, the B19, Car Planet Racing's mind-blowing 982bhp Time Attack Evo, Sean Lockyear's awesome Motec 964 Porsche 911 and the latest Lancer Evo X FQ-330 TC-SST.
