Brand new Peugeot 908 enduro unveiled

Grrrrrrrrrrrr! Peugeot Sport have unwrapped their brand new endurance racer that will compete at the Le Mans 24 Hours and in the International Le Mans Cup (ILMC). It features a fresh 3.7-litre, turbocharged, 90-degree-V8 HDi FAP diesel engine (not the old 100-degree V12), producing 550bhp, keeps the 908 name, is closed-cockpit with the same size front and rear wheels, while getting the new "shark fin engine cover," new for 2011, to comply with race regulations. The new regs have also reduced power levels, to the tune of around 150bhp, so downforce levels via the aerodynamic package have been cut, to enable the new 908 to run to the same high speeds it needs to win endurance races like Le Mans. The 908 has already been tested twelve times on track and feedback is very positive. The drivers remain the same for the ILMC championship. Expect big things...
