2011 Nissan GT-R gets hotter

The 2011 Nissan GT-R, aka Godzilla, has broken cover and is, unbelievably, better than ever! Three years of the GT-R has led to substantial development of the already space age bargain supercar by Nissan engineers. And the new car offers: 9% more power from the 3.8-litre twin turbo V6 (up to 530PS from 485PS) and a 4% hike in torque (612Nm, over 588Nm). 0-62mph takes a breath-taking 3.0s dead! There's a 3.5% improvement in emissions and fuel economy, with a 10% increase in downforce, thanks to improved aerodynamics. There's also: Tweeked suspension settings, revised electronics, bigger brakes, bespoke GT-R tyres, a revised interior, offering even greater comfort, improved cooling, and one equipment level, with two trim options, oh... and revised styling. Frankly, they could have just re-released the epic GT-R unchanged, and there would still be nothing else like it, but it's fabulous to see Nissan developing the bargain beast from the east. Still ahead of the game... wouldn't you say?
